The 2016 Halberg Junior Disability Games are almost here.

This is an opportunity to represent the Auckland Region at the 2016 Halberg Junior Disability Games – a national three day sport competition in Cambridge for physically disabled young people (8 - 21 years old).

Hosted by the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation, the Games will be held at St Peter’s School, fromFriday 22 April to Sunday 24 April 2016.

There are over 15 sports on offer including ambulant football, archery, athletics, badminton, blind cricket, boccia, equestrian, goalball, golf, paddle boarding, powerchair football, rowing, swimming, table tennis, triathlon, waka ama. The Games will also host the National Junior Championships for boccia and wheelchair tennis.

Come and experience an authentic Games village environment with a sports festival style opening ceremony at the Avantidrome. Represent your region, try new sports, pursue further sporting goals, compete, make new friends and have fun!
